BREAST CYSTS
Definition :– fluid-filled sacs in breast
Symptoms:
Breast pain
Complications –
Cancer in cyst wall
Causes:
Unknown;
injury may be involved
Treatment:
Lifestyle Recommendations
- Drink plenty of fluid (potassium juice and green drinks speed tissue repair)
- Dimethylglycine (50 mg 3x daily) – improves use of oxygen in tissues
- Eat a high-protein, high-calorie diet to promote fast tissue repair
- Include foods high in germanium, such as garlic, shiitake mushrooms and onions – improves tissue oxygenation
- Drink 6-8 glasses of quality (preferably steam-distilled) water daily and green drinks (made from vegetables)
In case of cancer –
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Eat a diet that includes grains, nuts, seeds, brown rice, wheat, oat, bran, millet cereal (a good protein source)
- Eat plenty of cruciferous vegetables (Brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, broccoli (contains indole-3-carbinol, known to eradicate many cancers on contact); asparagus; yellow and deep orange vegetables (good sources of antioxidants); berries (most protect DNA from damage), apples, Brazil nuts, cantaloupes, cherries, grapes, legumes, oranges and plums – all help fight cancer
- Eat plenty of garlic and onions – enhance immunity and fight cancer (crush garlic and leave for 10 minutes before consuming)
- Eat 7 servings of whole grain foods daily and include 5 types of grains in the diet per week
- Eat 10 raw almonds daily – contain laetrile, which has anti-cancer properties
- Eat as many tomatoes and tomato-based products as possible – contain lycopene, an antioxidant agent that protects cells from oxidants associated with cancer
- Drink fruit and vegetable juices and spring or steam-distilled water only
- Avoid dairy, animal protein, farmed fish, peanuts, sugar, salt and junk foods
- Eat cooked tomatoes – enhances effects of lycopene, which reduces risk of cancer
- Get regular exercise
Supplement Recommendations:
- Co-enzyme Q10 (90 mg daily) – improves cellular oxygenation, plus co-enzyme A – facilitates repair of RNA and DNA; supports detoxification; can streamline metabolism, ease depression and fatigue and increase energy
- Inositol hexaphosphate IP6) – has powerful anti-cancer properties; possesses natural killer cell activity
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) – a powerful cancer prevention agent
- Proteolytic enzymes – powerful free radical scavengers
- Selenium (200 mcg daily; max. 40 mcg if pregnant; max. total 800 mcg from all sources) – powerful free radical scavenger and protector against cancer (do not take if pregnant or have a heart, kidney or liver disease)
- 7-keto DHEA – has anti-cancer properties
- Shark cartilage (treatment – 1 g per 2 lbs body weight; prevention – 2 000-4 500 mg 3x daily) – inhibits and may reverse growth of some types of tumours; stimulates immune system
- Superoxide dismutase – destroys free radicals
- Vitamin A (50 000 IU daily for 10 days, then 25 000 IU daily; max. 10 000 IU daily if pregnant) – higher doses required in cancer (preferably emulsion form), plus carotenoids complex with beta-carotene – enhances natural killer cell activity, plus vitamin E (200 IU daily) – a powerful antioxidant and cancer-fighter (preferably d-alpha-tocopherol emulsion)
In case of cancer –
- Free-form amino acid complex – for tissue repair
- Calcium and magnesium – for tissue repair
- Vitamin A (adults – 10 000 IU daily; children – 10 000 IU 2x daily for 1 week, then 10 000 IU daily) – repair tissues
- Zinc (30 mg 3x daily) – immunity and tissue repair; speeds healing
- Essential fatty acids – reduce pain and help to keep blood vessels soft and pliable
- Grape seed extract – stimulates blood circulation, boosts immunity, neutralizes free radicals, and strengthens connective tissue
- Co-enzyme Q10 (100 mg daily) – improves tissue oxygenation
- Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) – aids in healing and detoxification at cellular level, plus vitamin C with bioflavanoids (5 000-20 000 mg daily) – repairs tissues and improves circulation; enhances benefits of MSM
- Silicon – for tissue repair
